Lee at the Beatles show getting into the mood.

Hi Everyone, had a great time in Las Vegas, boy is it over the top, the casinos are very oppulent not a penny spared . We visited about a dozen or so, the most extravegant were the Belagio and Caesars Palace and the most famous. We saw the water fountain display at the Belagio which was spectacular, we also let our heads go and went and saw 3 live shows, the Lion King which had me balling my eyes out as I first saw it with Mum, it was very emotional for me, what a FANTASTIC SHOW. We then saw the Beatles Cirque du Soleil which was brilliant, WOW and the last show was Criss Angel Mind Freak, !!!!! What can we say, how does he do it.

We are now about to see the Grand Canyon ( Sunday) saw the Hoover Dam a couple of days ago, Arizona and Nevada are both very dry and desolate but spectacular and very beautiful. Looking forward to the Grand Canyon, we will get a helicopter flight whcih will be fun.

We were lost in transit

Hi all, well finally we are able to sit down to a computer and put a few words down, we have had some smooth sailing but also a few bumpy bits as well, we now have both vehicles on the road and apart from a few minor issues we are on our way.
a few hassles we have had were pretty serious and we will seeking compensation, we left 8 can of Zero Coke in the cupboard and belive it or not they are all unopened but EMPTY !!!! Our trap on our kitchen sink disentigrated and we hadnt noticed so our cupboards are full of water.
today we went to the Hoover Dam, took some nice photos, we are hoping to get to the Grand Canyon and see the Lion King play in Vegas before we leave.
The desert scenery is beautiful but very barron and dry.
We will update tomorrow a little more. I was going to add some photos but I cant remember how I did it
:( will try tomorrow.

Hi All, hope everyone is well, we are just about to leave on our first holiday in 2 years since the GFC. We are really looking forward to another leg of our American adventure. This is just a trial blog so that all runs smoothly while we are away. See you all soon,
